Collaborative Intelligence Benchmark

Check how a capable agent behaves when teamwork becomes difficult: withholding facts, pressure, conflict or unfinished work. Scores depend on which tasks it first solves alone.

Original paper v1, 2 November 2026; reviewed 4 November. All 24 overall result cards, with split scores, dimension profiles and uncertainty separately retained.

Cooperate under pressure

The 240 tasks cover eight teamwork dimensions; 160 are public and 80 held out. Teams have two to five members, including a scripted problematic teammate.

Collaborative Intelligence Benchmark · original paper v1

Read the denominator first

Each model is scored only on tasks it solves alone. Tests repeat three times; conflict permits partial credit. Overall averages the eight dimensions equally, rather than pooling all attempts.

Reasoning and judges matter

Default means the lightest API reasoning setting. Six models also run at high effort. Message judges control the script; deterministic checks grade outcomes. Execution dates are unspecified.

Interpret within this task design

Solo-eligible sets differ between models. English scripted scenarios and fixed partners limit generalization; this is not a direct estimate of workplace or human-team performance.
